Here’s another 2-ingredient ice cream that doesn’t require an ice cream maker. This one is especially indulgent and completely reminiscent of an Almond Joy candy bar. Mix together some coconut milk and Nutella, then freeze and you have yourself a delicious frozen treat. Check out this post featured on Brit.co.
Almond Joy Ice Cream
Makes about 2 cups
1 can coconut milk (not light)
1/2 cup Nutella
Start with 1 can of coconut milk and 1/2 cup Nutella. Place ingredients in a blender. Blend for 2 to 3 minutes, or until uniform in color, stopping to scrape the sides of the blender as needed. Place mixture in a bowl and freeze for 6 hours for a softer ice cream and overnight for a firmer texture.

Saw this on tastespotting and was excited to see a two ingredient vegan ice cream….. But nutella isn’t vegan!
So sorry, I was mixed up with my previous post which is vegan. You can check that post out here – http://thepurplemixer.com/2012/04/24/biscoff-and-banana-ice-cream/
the tastespotting caption for this post says it’s vegan. nutella contains skim milk, so it’s not. looks tasty, but it’s a slightly annoying mistake. :/
Yikes, my apologies. I was mixed up with my previous ice cream post which is vegan. For a true vegan option, please check out this post. http://thepurplemixer.com/2012/04/24/biscoff-and-banana-ice-cream/
WOW O.O is it really that easy? Have nutella, will buy coconut milk… I’m so making this this weekend…YUM!
Yes, it’s super easy. For a creamier and richer ice cream, only use the cream from the coconut milk. If you don’t shake the can before opening, the cream will be separated from the rest of the milk at the bottom and you can skim it off the top.
Oh I want a bowl of this right now.
